The SCS Lakers U12s delivered a performance full of heart at home this Friday, pushing the Caversham Panthers to the limit in a high-octane 47-39 contest. Despite the unfavorable outcome, which reduced their season record to 4-5-1, the Lakers demonstrated exceptional skill and resilience, demonstrating their ability to compete with the league's most formidable teams. The atmosphere was electric from the jump as Jai Singh ignited the home crowd, knocking down back-to-back buckets to gift the Lakers an early 4-0 lead. With Kayson C finding his rhythm and Josh Evans providing crucial support, the Lakers controlled the tempo for much of the first half. The Panthers' late 8-point surge narrowly shifted the score, leaving the Lakers trailing by just a single point, 23-22, at the half.
